Training
Educating for Life and Leadership
Young people who live in under-served areas often lack the life skills necessary for gainful employment after graduation, so training is a vital step in preparing STOP students to successfully take advantage of the opportunities they will have now and in the future.
Academic support is also an important component in the student's overall development in STOP. By collaborating with the students' teachers, STOP ensures that weekly tutoring sessions are addressing students' individual needs. In addition to supporting their regular course work, tutoring focuses on building and strengthening the essential skills needed to be successful in the academic setting and in the workplace.
