Student
Shaping the Next Generation
Because young people are the building blocks of our communities, it is critical for them to receive the training, education and opportunity necessary to distinguish them among their peers and elevate them above the stereotypes commonly associated with inner-city youth.
All STOP participants are high school students who live in Southeast Washington, D.C. Each STOP student makes a commitment to abide by the mission and goals of STOP throughout their academic careers. Recognizing the crucial role parents, guardians, and teachers play in the development of children, the Foundation seeks to involve them in the student's participation and development in the program.
